Job summary

Mercy Health - St. Charles Hospital is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations, inventory control, compliance audits, and patient services as part of an interdisciplinary team under a Pharmacist.

The role requires accurate prescription handling, education on medication use, and adherence to infection-control policies. The position offers 35 scheduled hours per week with rotating shifts in a hospital setting and requires ExCPT or PTCB certification and a high school

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Valid ExCPT Certification or PTCB certification and state registration required.
• Previous experience in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care, or Home Infusion Pharmacy preferred.
• Must be able to learn and follow infection-control policies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Assembling and verifying prescriptions accurately.
