Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associates in Business, Communication, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Five years as Pharmacy Technician with increasing responsibility.
• Licensure: Michigan Pharmacy Technician license; national certification preferred; CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct daily activities of 35-40 technicians and specialist technicians.
• Coordinate technician tasks with professional staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Develop and monitor staffing, payroll, and scheduling across the pharmacy department.
• Participate in interviews for technician staff and student candidates.
• Coach, document, and conduct performance appraisals for technicians.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and departmental procedures.
• Develop departmental policies and procedures and monitor adherence.
