RXinsider LTD. is seeking a Director of Pharmacy for a historic not-for-profit acute care hospital on Chicago's South Side. This leadership role oversees a diverse pharmacy department, driving clinical and operational excellence to serve an underserved community.

Required qualifications include a Pharmacist license in Illinois, a PharmD (strongly preferred), and at least three years as Director of Pharmacy in an acute care setting. A board certification and residency are advantageous.

Qualifications

Active Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing required.
Minimum three years as Director of Pharmacy in an acute care inpatient hospital.
Minimum three years of acute care inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
PharmD degree strongly preferred.
Board Certification and hospital residency completion are advantageous.
Proven ability to manage a multi-level pharmacy team.
Experience in community or safety net hospitals is a plus.

Responsabilités

Oversee clinical, operational, administrative, staffing, and financial management of the hospital’s pharmacy department.
Lead and manage a team of approximately 20 pharmacy staff across FT/PT/PRN.
Collaborate with hospital administration and clinical leadership to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical services.
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and CMS standards.
