Banner Rehabilitation Hospital in Mesa, AZ, part of Select Medical, is seeking a Director of Pharmacy to lead the hospital pharmacy program. The role reports to the CEO and collaborates with clinical teams to ensure comprehensive pharmacy services.

The position requires a current pharmacist license and at least three years of hospital experience within the last five years, with on-call duties as needed. It offers a strong orientation, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities.

• Current state licensure as a pharmacist is required.
• A minimum of three years hospital experience within the last five years is required.
• Ability to efficiently operate a pharmacy within a healthcare organization is required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure provision of pharmaceutical services throughout the hospital, including clinical pharmacy services.
• Lead the Pharmacy Department and collaborate with the CEO and other clinical teams.
• Manage clinical, operational, administrative, staffing and financial aspects of the hospital pharmacy.
• Oversee staff development, performance feedback and succession planning.
• Direct daily operation of the Pharmacy Department and supervise staff.
• Perform duties of a Staff Pharmacist when needed.
• Develop and implement objectives of the department aligned with standards (Joint Commission, DOH, Board of Pharmacy).
• Lead hospital programs such as antimicrobial stewardship, sterile/non-sterile compounding, hazardous medications, and multi-disciplinary rounds.
