Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team on a Per Diem schedule with 8-hour day and evening shifts. The role focuses on coordinating pharmacy operations and delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to diverse inpatient and outpatient populations.

The ideal candidate holds an active pharmacist license, hospital experience, a BS in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred), and may have BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical care and patient safety.
• Oversee care across General Medicine/Surgical, ICU, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Emergency, Oncology, Peri-operative, geriatrics and outpatient services.
• Work under the Director of Pharmacy to implement clinical and operational quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
