Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking a Part-time Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Department across multiple service lines, including General Medicine, ICU, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Emergency, Oncology, and Outpatient care.

Responsibilities include coordinating department activities under the Director of Pharmacy to ensure safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care and patient safety for diverse clinical areas.

Qualifications

• Current state Pharmacist license required.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• PharmD degree preferred; B.S. in Pharmacy required.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred
