Job summary

The Pharmacist 2 at Baylor Scott & White Health provides pharmaceutical care to patients in a clinical setting. Compounds and dispenses medications according to regulations and policy.

Serves as a resource to healthcare professionals, including pharmacists, pharmacy students, and residents. They consult with Nursing, Medical Staff, and patients about medications, orders, drug details, reactions, errors, and complaints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• 3 years of experience or residency training for Pharmacist (RPH).
• License/registration as Pharmacist (RPH) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmaceutical care to patients in a clinical setting.
• Compounds and dispenses medications per policies and regulations.
• Consults with nursing, medical staff and patients about medications and drug interactions.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and ensures inventory and quality control.
