Job summary

Pacer Staffing is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a 16-week contract assignment in Seattle, WA. This role supports inpatient pharmacy operations including order verification, clinical drug information, and emergency response. The ideal candidate must have inpatient pharmacy experience and strong knowledge of Epic, thriving in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

The position offers a variable schedule primarily during day/evening shifts and comes with benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing pharmacy technician functions.
• Experience with Code Blue / emergency response.
• Familiarity with USP 797/800.
• Experience supporting specialty/oncology infusion pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders in Epic.
• Perform final product verification checks.
• Answer clinical questions and provide drug information.
• Oversee pharmacy technician functions.
• Support Code Blue and emergency response needs.
• Assist specialty/oncology infusion center operations.
• Support after-hours outpatient dispensing with a limited formulary.
