Job summary

RPh on the Go seeks an experienced pharmacist to support inpatient hospital care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The role is based in a 131-bed facility with an active census of 60–70 beds, focusing on quality medication management and patient safety.

The position features rotating 1st and 2nd shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 12:30 PM–9:00 PM), Monday–Friday with rotating weekends. You will gain hands-on experience with Pyxis and Epic systems while collaborating with a skilled interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in Louisiana or eligible.
• Experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy settings.
• Familiarity with Pyxis and Epic (training provided).
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and verify medication orders using Epic electronic health records.
• Manage medication dispensing and inventory utilizing Pyxis automation.
• Provide pharmaceutical care to inpatients by ensuring appropriate medication use and monitoring.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Participate in daily rounds and provide clinical support as needed.
