Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks an Inpatient Per Diem Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care across the hospital. In this acute care setting, therapists evaluate and treat a wide range of orthopedic and medical conditions to optimize mobility and function, collaborating with the care team.

Weekend shifts are required with potential for weekday day/evening coverage. The role requires an MA-licensed PT; a Master’s or DPT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree required or preferred.
• MA license to practice physical therapy required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess PT needs and develop a treatment plan with goals to maximize function.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure coordinated therapies.
• Manage patient caseload and document progress in medical records.
• Supervise aides and support personnel as appropriate.
• Participate in department meetings and student supervision as needed.
