Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Clinical Therapist to support the Child/Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry Unit at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. The position requires an MA in Social Work or Psychology and at least 2 years of mental health experience, with licensure as LCSW/LCPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct Service: Provides individual, couple and family therapy using a solution-focused, brief therapy framework.
• Provides case management, outreach and aftercare services to patients.
• Counsels crisis patients to stabilize and refers to other services as needed.
• Meets performance standards for direct staff hours.
• Develops and leads at least one treatment or skills-building group.
• Uses cognitive/behavioral management and skill-building techniques.
• Communicates with other programs to obtain patient information and progress.
• Consults on crisis services and ensures coverage to maintain services.
