Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree from ACEN/CCNE accredited nursing school in Pediatric Acute Care or Family Medicine, or a Master’s from ARC-PA program.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive health history, physicals and plans for pediatric patients with acute and chronic conditions.
• Orders and prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Develops family-centered care plans and coordinates with the care team.
• Participates in rounds and discharge planning and patient education.
• Supports education of patients, families, and staff; acts as preceptor when needed.
• Maintains safety and quality practices and contributes to continuous improvement.
