Job summary

Ascension is seeking a pediatric hospitalist to join a busy inpatient program in Indianapolis. The physician will work with a team of 13 hospitalists and support a robust subspecialty network.

This employed position offers stability within a nonprofit health system and opportunities for education and leadership. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics is required, with Indiana licensure and DEA registration anticipated.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient medical care to pediatric patients with diverse and complex diagnoses.
• Manage medical treatments and procedural sedations in collaboration with subspecialists.
• Serve as the medical control authority for the Pediatric Ground Transport team.
• Instruct and supervise pediatric residents and medical students.
