The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia's UVA Children's is expanding its Pediatric Cardiology inpatient program. We are seeking Advanced Practice Providers (NPs and PAs) to provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients admitted to General Cardiology and Heart Failure/Transplant services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program with a master's degree.
• Current BLS required; PALS/NRP as required for position, or ability to obtain.
• ACLS as required for position; DEA registration and prescriptive authority applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical management of pediatric cardiac acute‑care patients under cardiology leadership.
• Perform daily assessments, develop treatment plans, and review diagnostics.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transitions of care for assigned patients.
• Maintain 24/7 inpatient service coverage with rotating shifts andOn-call nights.
• Collaborate with echocardiography, cath, electrophysiology, and heart failure teams.
• Participate in developing the Pediatric Cardiology Acute Care service as the program expands.
