Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. (USPI) Arizona Specialty Hospital is hiring a Patient Care Tech on a full‑time basis.

The role supports surgical inpatients by providing basic care under RN supervision and performing routine duties as needed by the Pre-Op/PACU team. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, CNA certification, CPR certification, and experience in patient care, vital signs, and charting.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; CNA experience preferred.
• Current CNA license and CPR certification required.
• Must be able to take vital signs and provide personal care.
• Able to ambulate patients and operate wheelchairs safely.
• Strong communication, organization, and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
• Support Pre-Op/PACU operations as directed by the Manager.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control standards.
• Document patient information according to established protocols.
