Job summary

NJ Palliative Care Solutions is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide hospital-based palliative care at RWJ University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Must hold active NJ NP or PA license and national board certification; 2+ years palliative care experience required.

You'll work with a strong interdisciplinary team, enjoying a Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility, and receive a base salary of $130,000–$160,000 plus up to 12.5% annual bonus, 28 PTO days, malpractice

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey NP or PA license and national board certification.
• 2+ years of palliative care experience.
• DEA + CDS registration, or ability to obtain by start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital-based palliative care consultations and follow-up visits across the hospital continuum.
• Manage complex symptoms for patients with advanced illness.
• Lead goals-of-care and advance care planning conversations with patients and families.
• Coordinate with SNFs and hospices when appropriate and integrate into hospital workflows.
