You will join a collaborative Palliative Care team within Saint Joseph Medical Group, providing inpatient consults and management for seriously ill patients while coordinating with hospitalists, specialists, and the care team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or board-eligible (does NOT have to be in Palliative Care).
• Active Medical License in the State of Kentucky, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• DEA certificate.
• Completion of ACGME Residency (does NOT have to be Palliative Care‑specific).

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Palliative Care consultation and management.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, nursing, and care team to address symptom management and goals of care.
• Conduct advance care planning discussions and support families through serious illness.
• Work within Epic electronic health record system.
