Job summary

Compass Palliative Care in the Long Beach area seeks outstanding Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistants (PA) with interest and experience in palliative care. This is a part-time, Monday–Friday role with flexible hours.

You will assess patients, provide compassionate pall iative care, define and document diagnoses, educate patients and families, and contribute to training initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Compass Palliative Care, a leading California-based palliative care provider seeks outstanding Nurse Practitioners/ PAs who have experience and/or interest in palliative care. Our practice provides palliative services in the hospital setting in the Long Beach area.

This is a Monday through Friday, part time position. We are pleased to offer FLEXIBLE HOURS.

The practitioner will be assigned a specific patient load for which they will be responsible. Our palliative program is run by experienced and board-certified physicians who take pride in being able to provide training and in-service education to their staff. They believe in the advancement of their staff as well as creating the best possible outcomes for the patients they serve.

• Assess patients
