Allina Health in Plymouth, MN, seeks a Pulmonology physician to provide direct patient care and develop treatment plans for respiratory conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will review medical histories, synthesize data, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires an MD or DO with internal medicine residency and pulmonary disease fellowship, Minnesota license or active exam process, and board eligibility.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (MD or DO) from an approved school of medicine.
• Completed Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary Disease fellowship.
• Minnesota medical license or active examination process.
• Board certification in Pulmonary Disease preferred; eligibility acceptable.
• ACLS/BLS Tier 3, PALS and NRP certifications required upon start date.
• DEA registration and Prescription Monitoring Program compliance required.
• National Provider Identifier upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care focusing on respiratory health.
• Evaluate, diagnose, manage pulmonary disease and provide treatment plans.
• Review medical histories and synthesize data for care decisions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in case management.
• Document in electronic health records and participate in on-call rotation if needed.
