Job summary

A healthcare consulting firm is looking for an Inpatient/Outpatient Coding Quality Review Educator for a fully remote role. Candidates must have extensive coding experience, particularly in trauma and same day surgery coding. Required certifications include RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC. Only candidates from OK, KS, MO, TX, and AR may apply. A minimum of 3 years in coding auditing and at least 5 years of facility coding experience is necessary.

• This is an Inpatient Audit ( or Outpatient) position. Candidates must have extensive IP (or OP) Coding experience and trauma coding. Prefer Academic Medical Center and Trauma Center experience. Pre-employment IP Coding and Auditing assessments required before interview. Minimum of 3 years coding auditing/monitoring/training experience and at least 5 years of facility coding including significant experience of same day surgery and CPT procedure coding.


• License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC required.


• Limited to candidates in OK, KS, MO, TX, and AR. This is a fully remote position.


• During onboarding training process hours are between 7:00-4:30 CST. After released to independent production scheduled may be set between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM CST.
