Job summary

Concord Hospital seeks an Occupational Therapist Inpatient Per Diem to evaluate and treat patients across ages and health populations in accordance with established policies. Per diem staff are expected to cover weekends, holidays, and provide flexibility for coverage at other Concord Hospital sites as needed.

The role requires graduation from an accredited OT program, active NH OT license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• NH Occupational Therapy license - active and in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient evaluations and re-evaluations and documents in accordance with licensure, scope of practice and department standards.
• Advocates for and participates in developing disciplinary and interdisciplinary team members.
• Develops and documents assessments for each patient at evaluation and during treatment.
• Develops, revises, and documents goals and treatments for all patient during the episode of care.
• Takes responsibility for accurate and thorough patient charging as part of daily charting.
• Manage the department caseload with adaptability and timeliness.
