Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in New Jersey. The RN will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, assessing and treating a diverse patient population while coordinating plan-of-care, education, and discharge planning.

The role requires NJ RN licensure and BLS/CPR certification, with 6+ months of nursing experience or active participation in the Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the State of New Jersey is required.
• BLS/CPR Certification by American Heart Association is required.
• Six (6) or more months of nursing experience is required OR must be an active participant with Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program.
• Oncology nursing experience is preferred.
• BSN is preferred or willing to acquire within 3 years of hire.
• OCN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing care per evidence-based policies and standards to a variety of patient populations.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and discharge planning.
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and communicate with patients and families.
• Continuously update competencies and certifications to meet facility and licensure requirements.
