Job summary

The Inpatient Registered Nurse position at West Roxbury VA Medical Center, part of Veterans Health Administration, provides patient care in a high-acuity setting. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) and requires meeting VA nursing standards and licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting body and licensed to practice in the United States.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in a US state or territory.
• Experience in acute care, telemetry, and oncology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, evidence-based nursing care to assigned patients.
• Administer medications using BCMA and document in CPRS.
• Supervise and collaborate with licensed practical nurses/nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities.
