Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited OT program.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Licensure is required in every US state where the therapist practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient condition and establish goals with patient and family.
• Plan and implement individualized occupational therapy programs.
• Document patient progress and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to integrate OT into care.
• Instruct patient and family in OT procedures and home programs.
