Job summary

Career Links is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a hospital inpatient rehabilitation team in Washington. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to promote independence in ADLs and functional mobility.

Requirements include a Washington OT license or eligibility, NBCOT, and CPR/BLS certification. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Washington OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure before start date.
• Successful NBCOT examination completion.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain on hire date.
• Experience in hospital, acute care, inpatient rehab, or SNF preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs and mobility.
• Provide interventions for cognitive skills, upper extremity function, and adaptive strategies.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Educate patients and caregivers; document accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and quality initiatives.
