Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a board-certified or negotiable MD to provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage in an inpatient setting. The clinician will work 24-hour shifts, performing circumcisions and serving as the first assist with hospitalist support.

Epic EMR will be used for patient management. Call coverage is required, and the assignment emphasizes collaboration with hospitalists who provide gynecologic coverage.

Qualifications

• MD degree with residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Inpatient obstetric/gynecologic care experience preferred or negotiable.
• Proficient with Epic EMR for patient management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN coverage on a 24-hour inpatient shift.
• Perform circumcisions and serve as first assist for procedures with hospitalist backup.
• Coordinate patient care with hospitalists and anesthesia services.
