Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is collaborating with a northern California hospital to provide OB/GYN locum coverage. The assignment features 24-hour call shifts from 8a to 8a in an inpatient environment, with a delivery volume of 23–30 per month and support from a full team including anesthesiologists, surgeons, and pediatric specialists.

Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physicians are sought, with paid travel and expenses provided. Cerner EMR is used for patient documentation.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN.
• Active medical license in California preferred.
• Ability to work as locum obstetrician-gynecologist in inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric deliveries, including cesarean sections, and ED call coverage.
• Deliver obstetric and gynecologic care in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, general surgery, pediatrics and respiratory therapists.
