• Manages and directs patient care within budgetary, staffing and regulatory guidelines using evidence-based practice.
• Ensures personnel meet quality standards of customer satisfaction and patient care.
• Coaches, educates, consults, trains and evaluates nursing and ancillary personnel in assigned area.
• Plans, schedules and organizes work to ensure proper distribution of assignments and efficient use of personnel, space and facilities.
• Participates in ongoing quality improvement activities to enhance clinical care.
