Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Fremont seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join the Behavioral Medicine team. You will provide primary health care, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for inpatients with cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The role requires a Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice, current NP licensure, and strong leadership and clinical judgment. Inpatient schedule includes 7 days per week 8a-4p, with holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and within state practice.
• Ability to lead clinical teams and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care for patients by assessment and diagnosis.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and follow-up for patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other disciplines to ensure integrated care.
• Order tests and interpret results; adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
