Position Overview

The nurse will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and comfort.

Essential Job Functions

1. Provide age-specific, developmentally appropriate nursing care, applying advanced clinical knowledge.
2. Follow physician orders in patient care delivery.
3. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
4. Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
5. Collect lab samples and perform tests per policies and regulations.
6. Handle admissions, discharges, and transfers.
7. Prepare equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
8. Follow legal, hospital, and nursing standards of practice.

Other Job Functions

1. Perform quality assessment activities and document outcomes.
2. Attend required staff meetings.
3. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

1. Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred.
2. Current RN licensure without sanctions.
3. At least 2 years of RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare roles.
4. Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
5. Fluency in English, both written and oral.
