Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our inpatient medicine team. You will deliver inpatient care, treatment, and patient education under physician supervision within Baptist Hospitalists protocols.

Expect 16-20 patient encounters daily, 40 patient-facing hours weekly, no call schedule, and use of Epic EHR. CME opportunities and collaborative environment support ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Hospital Medicine or Critical Care/ICU required.
• Certified and licensed APRN/PA in Florida.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification, or ability to obtain.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care, treatment, and education under supervision of the overseeing physician.
• Manage 16-20 patients per day and maintain 40 patient-facing hours per week.
• Adhere to Baptist Inpatient Medicine Nurse Practitioner Protocols and collaborate with the inpatient team.
