Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a FULL TIME Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the inpatient team. You will provide inpatient care, treatment, and education under physician supervision according to hospital protocols.

The role involves managing 16–20 patients daily with approximately 40 patient-facing hours per week, using the Epic EHR system, with opportunities for CME and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Hospital Medicine or Critical Care/ICU.
• Certified and licensed APRN or Physician Assistant.
• Current Florida APRN or Physician Assistant license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification, or ability to obtain.
• Valid Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care, treatment, and education under supervising physician according to Baptist Inpatient Medicine Nurse Practitioner Protocols.
• Collaborate with inpatient medicine team to manage patient care.
• Typically 16–20 patients per day with about 40 patient-facing hours per week.
