Job summary

WVU Medicine is recruiting for a Hospital Medicine – Nocturnist to join a diverse, patient-centered team at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. The nocturnist will provide comprehensive inpatient care with access to consults from multiple specialties and strong administrative support.

Successful candidates will hold an MD or DO, be eligible for WV medical licensure, and have completed an Internal Medicine residency.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and eligibility for medical license.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Experience in acute inpatient hospital medicine desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care for adult patients.
• Collaborate with specialists and support services for patient management.
• Participate in nocturnist coverage and on-call rotation.
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
