Job summary

WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia, is actively recruiting a nocturnist to provide inpatient care in a diverse hospitalist group with strong administrative support.

The physician will treat patients in an open, 20-bed ICU facility and collaborate with specialists on consults, with a minimum of 13 shifts per month and flexible scheduling. Excellent compensation and recruitment incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
• Residency in Internal Medicine completed
• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine
• All qualifications must be met at time of appointment

Responsibilities

WVU Medicine - United Hospital Center is actively recruiting a dedicated nocturnist. The candidate will be expected to practice in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Duties: Successful candidates will provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries to the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.

Qualifications: Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
