Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Inpatient Abdominal Transplant Surgery team. This dedicated night-shift, inpatient-only role supports the abdominal transplant service.

13-hour night shifts, 12 shifts every 4 weeks, weekends and select holidays, night differential included. No operating room responsibilities; inpatient care in a highly specialized surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Current or eligible for District of Columbia PA or NP licensure.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

We are seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Associate (PA) to join the Inpatient Abdominal Transplant Surgery team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

The program is one of the largest liver transplant centers in the nation, performing more than 100 liver transplants each year and providing patients with timely access to transplantation.

This position has a hiring range of

USD $115,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Hr.
