Job summary

Indiana University Health in Bloomington is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an inpatient Neurology team. This 100% inpatient role works nights on a 1 week on / 2 weeks off schedule, collaborating with physicians to manage dementia, stroke, MS, migraines and Parkinson’s in a hospital setting.

The role includes hospital consults, nighttime rounding, stroke alert support, and coordination with satellite EDs within the IU Health South Region.

Qualifications

• Educational background consistent with requirements for NP/PA licensure and certification in Indiana.
• Neurology and ICU/CCU experience required.
• Hospital inpatient setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hospital consults for neurological conditions in collaboration with a Physician.
• Provide nighttime rounding coverage and support stroke alerts.
• Support outside EDs/critical access hospitals within IU Health South Region.
