Britt Medical Search is seeking an experienced BE/BC Neurologist to join an established inpatient neurology program in Rockford, Illinois. This role involves dedicated inpatient work with no outpatient duties, 7-on/7-off scheduling shared between two neurohospitalists, and inpatient consultations with daily rounds.

You will collaborate with hospitalists and other specialists, manage acute neurological emergencies, document thoroughly in the EMR, and assist with discharge planning and outpatient

Qualifikationen

• Experience in inpatient or hospital-based neurology.
• Familiarity with stroke care and acute neurological emergencies.
• Fellowship training or specialized expertise in inpatient neurology.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Aufgaben

• Provide inpatient consultations and daily rounding for acute and complex neurological conditions.
• Coordinate care with hospitalists, intensivists, nurses and other specialists.
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment options with patients and families.
• Coordinate discharge planning and outpatient follow-up.
• Complete timely, thorough documentation in the EMR.
