Job summary

VA Boston Healthcare System in Brockton, MA seeks an Inpatient Mental Health Registered Nurse to provide and lead evidence-based, patient-centered care for psychiatric patients. Responsibilities

• The Inpatient Mental Health (MH) Registered Nurse provides evidence-based care and leads the provision of patient-centered care.
• Facilitate shift reports, warm hand-offs, and nurse-led psychoeducational groups.
• Participate in MH interdisciplinary treatment teams and safety rounds.
• Oversee licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Support education, orientation, and quality improvement activities.
