Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL, is seeking a Part-Time Mental Health Worker Inpatient for the nights 7pm-7:30am. This position supports the RN and nursing team, assisting with daily living activities, documenting care, and maintaining a safe patient environment.

Responsibilities include collaboration with interdisciplinary staff, basic nursing tasks, and light clerical duties. A valid CNA license or equivalent experience is required, with BLS within 30 days. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA license issued by the state.
• BLS within 30 days of hire and keep current.
• One year of mental health work in a hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nursing staff with patient care and activities of daily living.
• Document care and communicate relevant information to supervising RN.
• Perform some clerical duties and support unit operations.
• Maintain safe, clean environment for patients and staff.
