The Mental Health Therapy Aide (MHTA) supports the mission of the Golisano Center for Special Needs for inpatient units. Responsibilities include participating in daily meetings with the behavior team to discuss treatment plans, implementing plans, managing and graphing data, and identifying variables affecting patient outcomes while ensuring privacy and dignity.

You will assist with daily living tasks and interact professionally with colleagues. Physical patient management is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience implementing ABA programs for developmentally disabled populations is preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and common software applications is expected.

Responsabilités

• Attend daily meetings with the behavior team to discuss treatment plans.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans and data management, including graphing data.
• Identify key variables affecting patient outcomes and support daily living tasks while preserving privacy and dignity.
• Prepare and manage data, support behavioral treatment procedures, and interact professionally with staff.
