Qualifications

• MHT II: One year of experience in providing patient care.
• MHT III: Two years of experience in providing patient care.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, provides non-professional direct or indirect care for behavioral health consumers in an inpatient setting.
• Participates in de-escalation activities and ensures consumer safety and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Acts as a role model for consumers, demonstrating problem solving and decision making, and assists in recreational and therapeutic activities.
