Job summary

Northwest Center for Behavioral Health is seeking compassionate Mental Health Technicians to join our Lighthouse facility in Woodward, Oklahoma. Under close supervision, the MHT provides non‑professional direct or indirect care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting, supporting safety and activities of daily living.

Qualifications vary by level: MHT I no experience required; MHT II one year of patient care; MHT III two years of patient care.

Qualifications

• MHT I: No experience or education required.
• MHT II: One year of experience in providing patient care.
• MHT III: Two years of experience in providing patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-professional direct or indirect care in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
• Assist in de-escalation activities and ensure consumer safety.
• Support activities of daily living and recreational/therapeutic activities for the consumer.
• Serve as a role model demonstrating problem solving and decision-making.
