Job summary

Valle Vista Health System in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide direct care on the All‑Women’s Psychiatric Unit. You will supervise residents, support safety, hygiene, and self-help skills, and assist with therapeutic activities.

Day shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with rotating weekends. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred.
• Experience: Six months to one year working with a behavioral health inpatient population preferred.
• Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and intervening with patients for safety.
• Ensuring structured therapeutic milieu.
• Role modeling problem solving and healthy relationship skills.

Education
