Job summary

Universal Health Services, through Via Linda Behavioral Hospital in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a Mental Health Technician to support RN-led care in a 120-bed behavioral health setting. Full-time, night and day shifts available, with opportunities to work on specialized units and contribute to patient education and activities.

The MHT works under RN supervision to assist with patient care, manage behavioral issues, and participate in the treatment team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• CNA certification preferred for the role.
• Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Manage behavioral problems and facilitate education and activity groups.
• Be an active participant of the treatment team in psychiatric and substance abuse care.

Education
