SummitRidge Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Mental Health Technician in Lawrenceville, GA. This role supports patients across inpatient and outpatient programs, helping with meals, activities, and daily living needs while monitoring safety and providing compassionate care.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to observe, document, and intervene when needed, contributing to personalized treatment journeys and positive patient outcomes in a supportive hospital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
• Experience in behavioral health or social services is preferred.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Be a steady, supportive presence guiding patients through meals, activities, and programs to create a structured, engaging environment.
• Monitor safety and calmly de-escalate situations as needed.
• Build trust-based relationships through positive communication and encouragement of healthy behaviors.
• Support screenings and assessments in collaboration with Clinical and Admissions teams.
• Assist patients in daily living needs to promote independence and progress.
