Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time patient care attendant for McLean SouthEast to provide direct care to psychiatric patients. You will support safety and the therapeutic milieu under a rotating schedule that includes day and evening shifts.

Experience with EHR and CPI training is valued, and you must be prepared to assist with family counseling. The role requires standing and mobility, ability to respond in emergencies, and adherence to professional boundaries while documenting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required or preferred; data conversion - various issuers preferred
• LNA certification (NH) preferred; NH Board of Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug and alcohol patients.
• Advocate for patients needing additional support.
• Provide parent/family counseling and trainings.
• Follow guidelines for patients with special status (suicide, abuse, AWOL).
• Prepare shift reports and maintain unit presence during handovers.
• Respond quickly and act in emergencies.
• Maintain professional boundaries and timely documentation.
