Job summary

Dominion Hospital in Falls Church, VA is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Tech for the Adult Inpatient Unit. This full-time role supports RN staff with patient care, records vitals, and assists with activities of daily living in a high-quality behavioral health setting.

Shifts available include Day and Night with rotating weekends. The salary scale ranges from $17.86 to $24.12 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and a collaborative, patient-centered culture at Dominion Hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers and CPI are required.
• Behavioral health experience is preferred; familiarity with EHR and vital sign devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with patient care in the inpatient unit.
• Record vital signs, intake/output and other patient information for the chart.
• Support daily living activities and safety for patients.
• Document observations and report changes to the RN/Team Leader.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient care environment and assist with rounds.
