Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Qualified Mental Health Professional at the Joliet Inpatient Treatment Center in Joliet, IL. You will provide comprehensive mental health care, including intake, assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and therapy within a correctional setting.

The role requires a Master's degree and active IL license (LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT). Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, with background checks and IDOC directives guiding operations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Active IL license LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Current TB documentation and CPR/AED certification.
• Minimum of two years’ direct care experience with individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Background check and security clearance as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive mental health care in a correctional setting, including intake and assessments.
• Performs crisis intervention and treatment planning.
• Consults with a multi-disciplinary team and engages in case management.
• Delivers individual and group therapy.
• Performs duties as directed by Centurion policies, IDOC directives, and SOPs.
