MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Inpatient Med Surg unit in Hallowell, Maine. This 36-bed unit focuses on cardiac, stroke, and higher-acuity medical patients, offering a night-shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week and weekend/holiday rotation.

Eligible RNs or new graduates are encouraged to apply. The role includes an Earned Time program, loan reimbursement potential, and continuing education opportunities within a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• Maine state licensure as an RN or eligibility
• New Graduate RNs encouraged to apply
• Three 12-hour night shifts per week on 1 West Med/Surg unit

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on 1 West Med/Surg unit in accordance with standards and policies.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate across disciplines for patient care, including transfers and discharge planning.
• May precept student nurses and new hires.
