VA Connecticut Healthcare System in West Haven, CT, is seeking an Inpatient Staff RN (Intermittent) for 6 East Med-Surg in Acute Care. Work hours are variable with a minimum commitment of 24 hours per month. This position supports direct patient care in a fast-paced med-surg unit.

Qualified candidates must hold an active RN license, have a eligible nursing degree, and demonstrate clinical proficiency. Telework is not available for this role.

Formación

• English language proficiency is required.
• Current, full, active RN license in the United States or within a state licensing board.
• Graduate of a professional nursing program accredited by ACEN/CCNE or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care for adult medical/surgical inpatients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
